From Cinderella to Lilo and Stitch to Monsters University, students grew up watching and enjoying all things Disney. For the first week of October, they can revert back in time as the homecoming theme celebrates Disney.

From Sept. 30 – Oct. 4, BCHS celebrates Spirit Week ending in the homecoming game and dance. That Sunday afternoon, each grade is assigned a hallway or stairwell to decorate. A winning class will be determined and given a prize.

Earlier this week students voted for homecoming court. Junior representatives for homecoming prince and princess are: Henry Gramling, Charlie Jacoba, Patrick Mastrian, Edreece Redmond, Kim Bowers, Lucy Kellison, Molly Lockrem, Kaylee Rulong.

The senior candidates for homecoming king and queen are: Simon Didat, Zach Evans, Nathan Horlander, Miles Lockrem, Monica Babbey, Claire Hawkins, Elizabeth Jacobson, Marta Schmitz.

Tuesday night, students are welcomed to come back to school to watch a movie under the stars on a big inflatable screen.  Students may bring blankets to sit on to watch the movie with their friends.

Student Council voted on a theme over the summer, and has further planned events for the rest of the week. Each day is named after a Disney movie and students are asked to dress the part that day. Additionally, a pep rally will be held at the end of the week and different games will be played during the week.

The week ends with the Trojans taking on the Colonels from Covington Catholic at the first-ever homecoming game at home at 7 p.m. The week ends with the ”Where Dreams Come True” dance outside under a tent Saturday evening, Oct. 6.

Student council hopes everyone will participate in the activities:
