The Student News Site of Bishop Chatard High School

The Blueprint

Trojan Matters Magazine/BluePrint website

Trojan Matters is the award-winning student produced publication of Bishop Chatard High School.

Published four times per semester, Trojan Matters is the voice of the student body. It succeeded the newspaper-format Trojan Tribune in 2014.

Read our current Trojan Matters Magazines.

Redesigned in 2015, The Blueprint is the online student news site. Students on staff report for both publications

With an emphasis on multimedia, be sure to keep your eye out for interactive stories, photo galleries, and videos.

Additionally, you’ll be able to find the daily announcements and You Sent It, We Heard It–the cousin of the Trojan Matters favorite You Said It.

How to become a staff member: The staff for the 17-18 year has already been selected. If you are interested in being a part of this staff, consider taking the beginning journalism or beginning photography courses offered. All students must apply for a position on the staff.  Applications will be available in January 2018. Look for the link and deadlines then.

AWARDS: The Trojan Matters magazine has consistently earned Gold and Silver Medals from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association nationally and top honors in writing, design and photography from the Indiana High School Press Association.  The awards for the previous school year are announced in October or November of each year. Mrs. Tracy Luke serves as the publication’s adviser.
