Four students from the junior class were nominated for the Rising Stars of Indiana recognition program. This program recognizes high-achieving junior students from Indiana high schools. The BCHS students nominated were Kelby Atha, Samuel Klineman, Gabriel O’Hara and Jizhou Wang.

These students were nominated for their dedication in upholding the school’s values. They were also chosen for their academic achievements. “Because the leaders of the junior class are so strong in leadership experience, service to others, and academic rigor, the deciding factor came down to cumulative GPA,” said Mrs. Jamie Marx, guidance counselor.

Colleges will use the list of nominees from the program in order to find high-achieving students.
