The Father Casey Chapter of the National Honor Society at BCHS was founded in 1965, and today, 55 juniors and seniors join its ranks.

Focused on scholarship, leadership, service and character, juniors and seniors are invited to apply in the fall based on their cumulative GPA (3.6 or higher). Their applications are then reviewed by a selection committee. After induction BCHS members are involved in planning and hosting tutoring sessions and academic events for their peers. Mrs. Jordan Ogle, NHS adviser, said, “It’s a recognition of all their hard work and academics in addition to demonstrating those four core characteristics of an NHS student.” cover photo by Zoe Schrader, Citadel
