On April 30, BCHS will be holding its annual Celebration of the Arts to honor students’ impressive work in the fine art classes. The art show will be held in the main gym with doors opening at 6 p.m. The classes of Mr. Mike Reith, Mrs. Lisa Johnson, Mrs. Tracy Luke and Mrs. Emily Goff will be displayed showing digital design, photography, and art.

As the softball team kneels in front of the grotto at Notre Dame, senior Casie Maexner takes the photo. Her work as well as that of the other advanced photographers and other student artists will be displayed at the Celebration of the Arts.

Senior Elena Redmond, one photographer showcased in the event, said “It allows for students to show their talents and be able to brag about the hard work they put in to make their art successful.”

Choir director Mrs. Angela Peterson’s Spring Music Concert Band and Choirs will also perform in the main gym beginning at 7 p.m.

The event is free to the public and all ages are welcome to attend! If there are any questions about Celebration of the Arts, contact Mrs. Peterson at [email protected]
