Senior Danny Godlevske has been invited to play in the All American Bowl in Daytona Beach, FL on New Year’s Day. The All American Bowl is an all-star game for high school players all over the country. The All American Bowl was founded in 1926 and has been played in various cities around the country.

Players must be invited to participate. Godlevske said, “Coach L (Mr. Vince Lorenzano) received an email from one of the game creators, and they wanted me to play in their game.” It is a great accomplishment to be picked as a player to play in the All American Bowl. According to the All American Bowl website, the players selected are chosen as one of the best players at their level.

The opportunity to play in one of these games is very selective in the students they choose to play. Godlevske said, “I was very excited when I found out I was selected to play. It was a very humbling experience, and I’m very thankful.”

Godlevske will play  on New Year’s Day. The game will not be televised, but there will be clips and photos on the All-American Bowl website.
