Next Monday (Feb. 8), the BCHS football program will be honored at the State House downtown by the Indiana Senate.

“Over the years, the Senate of Indiana recognizes schools and programs through resolutions and the Senate votes on whether or not to pass it. If the majority of the Senate votes yes, then it goes down in the books for our program of the most state wins,” said Mr. Vince Lorenzano, head coach for varsity football

They requested that Coach Lorenzano and senior football players attend to accept the honoree.

“It is pretty cool that they are going to honor us for setting a state record,” said Collin Noll, senior. “It really shows how much hard work we have put in throughout (Bishop) Chatard’s history of football.” photo by E. Smith
