As the March for Life approaches and the time of Christmas giving is upon us, BCHS is holding a diaper drive for the Women’s Care Center until this Friday. The Women’s Care Center provides classes, doctors appointments, ultra sounds and counseling sessions for women going through pregnancy.

The location we are helping is located on 86th and Michigan right next to a Planned Parenthood facility. “The location of the facility gives women an alternative option to abortion even if they make a last minute choice,” said Director of Campus Ministry Mrs. Carol Wagner. The facility also allows women to get other materialistic needs for their children if they attend classes, appointments and more, they get points and can use those points to purchase supplies at a shop the care center has. This includes diapers that we will be providing. Over 47,800 diapers were collected by the Women’s Care Center last year. Now, the center has over 1,300 babies that they are expecting this year that the donations will be helping. “It was a spontaneous yes to an agency that needed our help, this is what our faith is about,” said Mrs. Wagner.

Students can continue to donate diapers until Friday, Dec. 14.
