Class of 2018 celebrates Baccalaureate Mass

With just one day before graduating, the seniors celebrated Mass together in a Baccalaureate Mass. Several area priests celebrated with the class and their families.

Deacon Rick Wagner, vice president of mission and ministry, reminded the students that they need to continue to fan the flame of their faith and that BCHS and their families helped build their flame and that they should continue to do so on their faith journey.

Following Mass, Mr. Tim Akin, Class of 1968, spoke to the soon-to-be graduates and wished them health and happiness and to appreciate all of their moments because time “does indeed fly.” Many members of the Class of 1968 were in attendance as they will celebrate their 50th class reunion this summer.

Then, seniors Bridget Nash and Emma Kennedy presented their summa project, a class video capturing every senior and nearly every activity of this school year.  Here is the link to that video:
