NFL- The second weekend of the NFL had yet another tie. The Packers and the Vikings tied 29-29. This is the second tie in as many weeks with the Browns and Steelers tieing last week 21-21. The Colts found themselves in the win column for the first time this year while beating the Redskins 21-9.

NBA- The league opens up preseason play in just over one week.

MLB- The playoff race is heating up as the Red Sox and Indians have clinched playoff spots. The Astros, Braves, Cubs, and Dodgers are all leading their respective divisions. The Yankees, Athletics, Brewers, and Rockies are all in Wild Card spots right now.

NHL- The start of the NHL season is only two weeks away.

NCAAF- With many games getting moved or cancelled due to storms, the college football landscape only saw one large upset when BYU beat #6 Wisconsin in Madison.

High School- The Trojan football team continued their winning ways and beat Southport on Friday improving to 5-0. This was the 500th win in program history.
