Trojans explore Europe

With Spring Break  rapidly approaching, students are preparing for time on the beaches of Florida and other tropical destinations. However, a small group of students is preparing for their Spring Break trip to Europe which will feature stops in London, Paris and Barcelona.

“I signed up (for this year’s Europe trip) because I like to travel and it’s an opportunity that I won’t get again,” said Sasha Bledsoe, junior. Bledsoe is excited for all the trip has to offer and is also looking forward to sampling the local cuisine.

Although it is too late to sign up for this year’s trip, sign-up for the 2015 Italy trip is already underway and the sooner you sign up, the bigger discount you will receive.

Ms. Linda Helmick, art teacher and chaperone of the trip for the past two years, said students should sign up “because it is important to expand your community and to immerse yourself in other cultures in order to see how other people live.”
